Revisiting an idea from two or three years ago: I had drawn every legitimately deceased character from Marvel Comics’ Official Handbook Of The Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition Book of the Dead (one of my favorite comic book titles of all time, just drink that in) as bedsheet ghosts … I decided to draw some deceased super-heroes as horrible haunty ghosts instead of cute bedsheet ghosts, but then again these are still kind of cute.

I wracked my brain to try to think of superheroes who were actually factually dead, and ultimately I settled on the still-dead-apparently Captain Mar-Vell and Ant-Man, whom I understand (spoiler warning, I guess) to have done gotten his skull kicked in yesterday. I don’t know what the new guy’s costume looks like, so y’get the old one.

PS Man these are not zombies okay.
